88 Points of Fit

Athletes run.

I've been a runner for upwards of 36 years. 1st 3-4 years on Nike product. Sadly Nike doesn't make [real] running shoes anymore...they're strictly gimmicky fashionistas now. Then I had a brief romance with Adidas (1-2 pair of Adidas Countrys [sic]). Then, in college, I turned to Saucony, and have continued with the brand for approximately 30 years.

But yesterday, after researching the new New Balance 700 series, I picked up my first ever pair of their shoes: the N.B. 769. Even the laces have been re-thought...they actually "lock down' as you pull them tighter.

And, while I still have a relatively new pair of Saucony C2 Grid Roadsters (incredibly lightweight) I'm looking forward to wearing them for my initial flight...sometime this weekend.
